OASIS Standards
Overview
The Apache Muse project provides a Java-based implementation of OASIS web services standards, including WS-ResourceFramework 1.2, WS-Notification 1.3, and WS-DistributedManagement 1.1. Each of these is an OASIS standard, ratified by a technical committee with the help of multiple IT vendors. Together, these standards define a system for exposing IT resources as stateful web services, providing a robust system of notifications, and making common the management concepts that are present in today's enterprise applications.
