After installation I get an Exception with "java.lang.Exception: Requested Action not found: JetspeedSessionValidator"

This is because you haven't configured everything correctly. You have
Turbine setup correctly but Jetspeed.jar is not in your classpath.

I use Tomcat as both a webserver and a servlet engine. Where do I put my content?

Copy your content directory to [TOMCAT_HOME]/webpages. Tomcat should
now be able to server your HTML to Jetspeed.

I am getting confusing MarshalExceptions at multiple places within
Jetspeed. What is causing this?

You probably have Cocoon installed and it is automatically handling
.xml files. You will need to either disable this or change the
extension for Jetspeed XML files.

The (http://java.apache.org/main/mail.html) mailing list is probably
your best shot. There is also additional information in the
java.apache.org (http://java.apache.org/faq) FAQ-O-MATIC
