The Event

The first OpenOffice.org Online Talks is an online conference which will bring together the different OpenOffice.org projects and show them to the online world. Representatives of all the community projects meet to celebrate and learn from the achievements of the past twelve months, and discuss how to meet the challenges ahead.

Conference will be full of interesting topics including Marketing, Development of extensions as well as the OOo core and new tracks like OOo Users where power users will be giving power tips to achieve more with OOo. This conference will be the first of hopefully many and will become a part of the growing list of OOo events like the regicons and OOoCons.

The Location

Since this will be an online conference, the location will be on a different website called WizIQ. The WizIQ platform will enable to stream video and audio at the same time that will give us clear view of presentation slides and the unique feature of interaction and collaboration on interactive dashboards. This will enable participant to contribute and collaborate on different levels.

The People

The online nature of this event will guaranteed to have the right people at the right spot regardless of their geographic location. We are looking to have the best talent around the planet and get in touch with also attendees coming from different part of the globe and be able to get a personal first level experience on how the software get's develop and by whom.
