Description:
Inject any plugin-specific
artifact
metadata to the project's artifact, for subsequent installation
and deployment. It is used:
- to add the latest metadata (which is
plugin-specific) for shipping alongside the plugin's artifact
- to define plugin mapping in the group
Attributes:
- Requires a Maven project to be executed.
- The goal is thread-safe and supports parallel builds.
- Since version: 2.0.
- Binds by default to the lifecycle phase: package.
