Camel is the Swiss knife of integration, and the most famous integration project from ASF. Camel offers more than 300 connectors, to transfer data to and from a wide variety of systems. The toolbox also brings options to route, filter and transform data based on the wildest requirements of a modern or legacy enterprise.

This session covers all the latest development of the Camel projects, and roadmaps of what is coming next.

During the session we will show quick demos of Camel.

Claus Ibsen: Red Hat, Senior Principal Software Engineer, Claus Ibsen is an open-source enthusiast and software developer from Red Hat. He’s co-leading the Apache Camel project, a project used for integration; which he has been working on full time for more than a decade.

Claus is a member at Apache Software Foundation and a Java Champion.


Andrea Cosentino: Red Hat, Principal Software Engineer, Andrea Cosentino (@oscerd2) is an open-source addicted and software developer. He co-leads Apache Camel and he’s the Project Management Committee (PMC) Chair of the project. He’s currently working on expanding the Camel ecosystem through new subprojects like Camel K, Camel Quarkus, and Camel Kafka Connector (the latest project in the family).

Andrea is a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat where he works on the Red Hat Fuse Team, focusing on integration.
