Rich has been involved in the Apache httpd project almost since the beginning. He's written several books about it, and has participated in writing much of the documentation. Rich has spoken at almost every ApacheCon to date.
Rich is the author of Apache Coobook, and The Definitive Guide to Apache mod_rewrite. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky, and is the Community Manager for SourceForge.
