Ate Douma is Platform Architect at open source WCM vendor Hippo in The Netherlands.

Ate is a member of the Apache Software Foundation and PMC member and committer for Apache Rave, Portals, Wicket and the Apache Incubator.

Ate is also mentor for the Wookie and Airavata Incubator podlings, and one of the initiators and Champion for the Apache Rave project during its incubation period.

Ate is an active committer and member of the Apache Rave community with a focus on the overall Rave architecture, and more specifically the platform and dynamic content integration features.
