Eric Evans

A member of the Debian Project and Apache Cassandra PMC, Eric Evans is a long-time Free Software hacker and technology enthusiast. With more than a decade of large-scale systems experience, he has held rolls in both operations and engineering.

A master of confusion, Eric once coined the term NoSQL, only to later introduce SQL to a NoSQL datastore. When provided with a venue to explain this contradiction, he rick-rolled the audience.

In his spare time, Eric bottles and debottles beer, and assists Cassandra users to unsubscribe from the mailing lists. He resides in San Antonio Texas where he works on distributed systems for Acunu.
