Radek Maciaszek

Radek is founder of Data Mine Lab, a consultancy he founded three years ago. The company specialises in large-scale data number crunching and cloud computing.

Since setting up the business, Radek has worked for many data-intensive clients, including digital ad networks such as ad4game, where he also serves as a CTO, Cognitive Match, SkimLinks and Orange. He has also worked for digital start-ups, including eCourier and teaches Hadoop and usage of Cloud at Framework Training in London.

When he is not helping clients drive commercial advantage from their data, Radek uses his data analytics skills to grow the sum of human knowledge. He is currently finishing an MSc in Bioinformatics where he applies his data mining expertise to bioinformatics databases and is starting PhD in use of Cloud Computing with Bioinformatics.

He also has a BSc in Computer Sciences from Poznan University, as well as a Master’s in Cognitive and Decisions Science from Birkbeck, University of London.
