Theo Schlossnagle is a Principal Consultant at OmniTI Computer Consulting, where he designs and implements scalable solutions for highly trafficked sites and other clients in need of sound, scalable architectural engineering. He is author of Scalable Internet Architecture, published by Sams. Theo is also the author and maintainer of the mod_backhand load-balancing module for Apache, an author and maintainer of the Wackamole IP failover tool, the initiator of the Backhand Project and an active participant in a plethora of open source projects.
