Oscar Castaneda
I'm a highly motivated student at Delft University of Technology, and I am graduating this December! I will present part of my master's thesis research at the Business & Community Track, in a session titled: "Hierarchy in Meritocracy: Community building and code production in the ASF." I look forward to seeing you there!
As a student I have extensively used Free and Open Source software, and over time acquired a knack for making things work. I have participated as a student and mentor in Google Summer of Code in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and as a staff volunteer in ApacheCon Europe in 2008 and 2009 and you'll see me handing out t-shirts and introducing speakers again this year. I am interested in open source software, software engineering and software management.
