Apache Geronimo 3.0 is an application server that runs on top of OSGi kernel. It provides Java EE 6 as well as OSGi enterprise features. This talk will provide an overview of the OSGi v4.2 Enterprise Specification focusing on JMX, JNDI, JTA, JPA, and Web specifications. The talk will also describe how these OSGi enterprise technologies are integrated in Apache Geronimo and show how Java EE applications can interact with OSGi services or show how Java EE defined resources can be accessed from OSGi applications.
