• June 2007: Current development version of Xindice now includes WebAdmin tool that provides administration and content management capabilities through Web and WebDAV interfaces. WebAdmin replaces "ugly debug tool".
• 9 May 2007: The Apache Xindice team is pleased to announce the production release of the next version of the Xindice native XML database, Apache Xindice 1.1. This release contains many stability and correctness enhancement and is recommended over any previous Xindice release.
• 24 Octobrer 2006: Development version of Xindice now supports compiling and running under Java 5.
• 22 June 2005: The Apache Xindice source code repository has been converted from the CVS into the Subversion. Checkout Xindice from http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xml/xindice/trunk/.
• 8 April 2004: The Apache Xindice team is pleased to announce the release of the next version of the Xindice native XML database, Apache Xindice 1.1b4.
• 5 February 2004: The Apache Xindice got a Wiki instance at Apache Wiki Farm, located at http://wiki.apache.org/xindice.
• 31 December 2003: The Apache Xindice team is pleased to announce the release of the next version of the Xindice native XML database, Apache Xindice 1.1b3.
• 23 November 2003: Jan Metzner announced availability of new Web and WEBDAV Xindice administration tool. It is planned to replace current "ugly debug tool".
