For 1.3a2 (This section can be removed when 1.3a2 is release)
- Remove the following items from xdocs/stylesheet/project.xml
     Configuration Howto - It is replace by the Configuration Guide

These are misc notes that are used when building a Jetspeed distribution.

- Update the version number in the following files:
    build/build.xml
    webapp/WEB-INF/templates/jsp/navigation/html/bottom.jsp
    webapp/WEB-INF/templates/vm/navigation/html/bottom.vm

- Update the distribution URL in the following files:
    docs\channels\jetspeed.rss

- Add the version number to Bugzilla

- clean your distribution (remove Jetspeed.jar from you classpath).  This will 
  ensure a clean build

- Use JDK 1.2 when compiling (do not use Jikes for distribution)

- build sitebook docs (./build.sh site)

- update jakarta.apache.org with newest version and an announcement

- post to javaworld.com

- post to freshmeat.net

- post to mailing lists
    - java-apache@jakarta.apache.org
    - general@xml.apache.org
    - general@jakarta.apache.org
    - 
- test the build

- tag CVS with the revision release number

- move around TODO notes so that any done items are reflected in TODO/CHANGELOG

- build Javadoc

- Update the documentation on jakarta.apache.org/jetspeed/site

- Update the channels on jakarta.apache.org/jetspeed/channels
