GNU/Linux and Solaris - GZ and Tar Files


Select your program:
  • TAR

    • Using TAR

  • Download file into a directory. (Be sure to remember the directory where the file was downloaded.)
  • From a console window, locate the directory where the file was downloaded
  • Enter TAR -zxf FileName. Where FileName is the name of the file you want to extract from.
