The Microsoft Store requires programs to be installed "silently".

Our Windows binaries (Full Installation) are downloaded from:

https://dlcdn.apache.org/openoffice/4.1.15/binaries

and installed with the following parameters:

/S /NCRC /GUILEVEL=qn /POSTREMOVE=ON /PARAM1="REGISTER_NO_MSO_TYPES=1" /PARAM2="/norestart"


Explanation:

/S - Silent install (NSIS installer)

/NCRC - No CRC check (NSIS installer)

/GUILEVEL=qn - No user interaction (NSIS installer)

/POSTREMOVE=ON - Remove files after installation (from %TEMP% dir)

/PARAM1="REGISTER_NO_MSO_TYPES=1" - This parameter is passed to the Windows installer (setup.exe)

/PARAM2="/norestart" - This parameter is passed to the Windows installer to avoid a restart
