Entering Data in the Properties Dialog The following key combinations apply to enter data in multiline fields or combo boxes of the Properties dialog: Keys Effects Alt+Down Arrow Opens a combo box Alt+Up Arrow Closes a combo box Shift+Enter Inserts a line break in multiline fields. (UpArrow) Goes to the previous line. (DownArrow) Goes to the next line. Enter Applies the changes made to a field and places the cursor into the next field.
