[MNG-3498] Fixing the path translator to avoid StringIndexOutOfBoundsException when using '${basedir}' as the path expression, where there is no trailing sub-path. Also, cleaning up the project builder configuration to include execution properties, and avoid the use of sysprops inside the project builder itself.
