log4j 1.2 Roadmap

  log4j 1.2 is mature and future development on the log4j 1.2 branch
  is expected to be limited to bug fixes and minor enhancements.
  Any major new features for log4j 1.2 are likely to be developed
  as companion products for log4j 1.2.
