Control over object spacing in a presentation or a drawing is called Distribution. Follow these steps:

Select three or more drawing objects.
Hold down the right mouse button to get the context menu.
Select: Distribution.
In the dialog that appears, you have the choice of aligning objects vertically and/or horizontally.
Click on OK for your settings to take effect.
