This directory contains source and built pages for the Derby 
web site at http://db.apache.org/derby . The "src" directory 
contains source and the "build/site" directory contains the 
built pages that get checked out on people.apache.org.  
Instructions on how to modify and build the site are at:

doap_Derby.rdf
--------------
The doap_Derby.rdf file in this directory is not part of the Derby
web site.  It provides a project description, in DOAP format, 
for http://projects.apache.org.  The DOAP file can reside anywhere; 
the pointer to the location is stored in:

   https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/infrastructure/site-tools/trunk/projects/files.xml

The doap_Derby.rdf file should be updated for new releases.


BIS - Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

ASF exports info is maintained at http://www.apache.org/licenses/exports/.
For Derby, the file listed below should be updated directly (typically using
the Apache CMS):

   https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/infrastructure/site/trunk/content/licenses/exports/index.page/eccnmatrix.xml

There is usually no need to update the information for new Derby releases.
Derby is listed for its use of the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) API. 
The above information was earlier kept in the bis_DERBY.rdf file.
