COUNT(*) COUNT(*) aggregate function

COUNT(*) is an aggregate function that counts the number of rows accessed. No NULLs or duplicates are eliminated. COUNT(*) does not operate on an expression.

Syntax COUNT(*)

The resulting data type is BIGINT.
