Robert Burrell Donkin <RobertDonkin@appleonline.net> contribution to
make ECSDefaults more easy to deal with...by allowing external ecs.properties
files to be set.

updated the .cvsignore to reflect reality

Another approximation to the braindead find(1) on Solaris. I'm about to give
up and declare that you have to get the findutils from
ftp.cdrom.com/pub/linux/slackware/source

Side effect, added the missing java files to the makefile.
