Use the most recent release of some test resources.
Fixed all kinds of urls to graduated projects
Integrated build of village
Added the missing dependency on concurrent, introduced by JCS
Upgraded JCS dependency to 1.3 and fixed related deprecation issues.
updated library dependencies
Fixed URLs and properties
Version 3.3 all over the place. Updated some dependencies.
Re-licensed all stuff according to new rules
Use fulcrum-jar versions that exist on ibiblio. Fixes TORQUE-47
- Derive TorqueComponent from TorqueInstance - Provide a test and its dependencies to check it works
- changed inclusion of project reports from automatic to manual - corrected some urls - rewritten runtime's index.html. Information about which database is supported was moved to an extra page in docs-all-components. - removed the jar guide. It is not applicable any more as the generator was seperated from the runtime in torque 3.1 - the information in peers-howto was moved to several other documents in the reference (read-to-db, write-to-db, extend-classes) - todo.xml was removed. Todo information is discussed in the wiki. - users-guide was removed. It is not up-to-date anymore and mostly repeats information in the tutorial. The ant part will be rewritten and added to the generator reference. - old logos (db-logo-blue.png, torque-logo-blue.png) are removed. - the stuff in reference (which was scattered in the howtos before) was re-organized, checked to be up-to-date, rewritten in some parts and brought to a common format.
updated dependencies: - avalon-framework-api-4.3 - avalon-logkit-2.1 - commons-beanutils-core-1.7.0 - commons-configuration-1.2
Village 2.0 has hit ibiblio.
Removed trailing blanks
Updated licenses
update SCM references
add a "dist.bundle" property which makes it possible to select the elements going into the binary distribution with a property in the POM, thus removing the necessity to hard code them in maven.xml
move runtime in place
Make the runtime fit for reactor build
- add external - extend common project.xml
copy runtime
- Update repository locations for Subversion - remove gump ids (went to project-base.xml)
moved default target from maven.xml to project.xml also released project-base.xml in source distribution to make its build work
updated most libraries to the newest available stable version
Merged the TORQUE_3_1_Branch into HEAD. The 3_1_Branch was tagged before merging with TORQUE_3_1_BRANCH_BEFORE_MERGE the HEAD was tagged before merging with TORQUE_HEAD_BEFORE_MERGE_OF_3_1_BRANCH The basic idea was to take the generator from HEAD and the runtime and maven plugin from 3_1_BRANCH. Because quite a few changes have amounted, I changed the name of the current version to 3.2 A detailed changelog can be found at the developers mailing list, the title of the mail is changelog: merge of Torque_3_1_BRANCH with HEAD I checked that the runtimetest runs against a Oracle 9.2 database. Things which definitely need checking are - check postgresql and Derby support - The docs/changes.html page is not generated by "maven xdoc". No idea why, but it is also not generated in the 3_1_Branch. They also do not appear on the website... Although I tried to be very cautios, there are many changes and chances are that some bugs have sneaked in. PLEASE TEST THIS !!!!
3.1.x will be the default for the torque site for now, later we will create a torque-site module.
Fix dependency urls.
Sync versions.
Upgrade to commons-collections-3.0, commons-configuration-1.0-rc1 and commons-logging-1.0.4.
Add license. Removed an unused element that apparently no longer exists in the pom.
Remove support for stratum lifecycle interfaces.
restructure project.xml files (add project-base.xml containing all shared info) this is needed as all dependencies from the parent file are included too (generator doesn't need most of the runtime dependencies)
upgrade dependencies: - commons-dbcp-1.1 - commons-pool-1.1 - commons-lang-2.0
- upgrade to commons-dbdcp-1.1-RC2 and commons-pool-1.1-RC2 - remove findbugs report

Dion put Snapshots of commons-configuration and commons-dbcp on ibiblio. Build with these. Change the tomcat-naming specification to be more clear.
- log4j-1.2.7 has been put on ibiblio - adjust xerces jar names according to the jaf:activation example (if we really want to use the xml-apis jar, please change the version to 1.0b2 to reflect that. For the moment, I would go with the xerces supplied version of the xmlParserAPIs, because we know that torque works with these). PR: Obtained from: Submitted by: Reviewed by:

Reverted.
Okay, the previous checkin wasn't what I added...the src/templates dir was included in the templates' paths in the jar, so fall back on the old way that worked.
Let maven copy the templates into the torque jar.
Updated to pass maven pom:validate. Basically moved order of some elements and add a Java Developer role for all of the developers.
Updating to Maven Beta 5.
If we have release versions of various packages, we should use them... - log4j to 1.2.6 - commons-beanutils to 1.4 - commons-logging to 1.0.1 PR: Obtained from: Submitted by: Reviewed by:

The new pool in commons-jdbc2pool was moved to dbcp. There is little reason to keep the sandbox project open for torque's pool, so I am putting it back into the torque source tree. It is a functional pool, but I would not recommend further development on it. Also reverted the log4j dependency as the new one was not in turbine/jars or turbine/jars2 and the build works with the older version. PR: Obtained from: Submitted by: Reviewed by:

Fixing the project descriptor to be v2 compliant. Martin, I suspect you don't have a recent version of maven and the auto-upgrade didn't work as expected.
- add project.properties (used by maven) - upgrade project.xml to version 2 - fix templates location within jar file

dvsl and dom4j added so that the gump descriptor can be generated. Maven needs to be fixed so that these things don't have to be explicity declared. Use of them should be transparent if the project doesn't actually need them. IMO this is a show stopper. PR: Obtained from: Submitted by: Reviewed by:
