JSP(tm) Standard Tag Library reference implementation (Beta 2)

The JSR-052 Expert Group, operating under the Java Community Process, will be hosting the reference implementation of the JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL) at Jakarta Taglibs. JSTL is currently in the Public Review stage of the Java Community Process. The JSTL Public Draft is now available.

NOTE: JSTL requires a JSP container that supports the Java Servlet 2.3 and JavaServer Pages 1.2 specifications. Jakarta Tomcat 4 supports the new specifications.

IMPORTANT: This release of the JSTL RI is a beta release and does not yet represent a final standard. The API and implementation are subject to change in the future. Community feedback is actively sought; if you have any comments, please email us at jsr-52-comments@jcp.org.

RI Beta 1 made available for download. The JSTL Public Draft is now available. Early Access Release 3 was made available for download. Early Access Release 2 was made available for download. The "jsptl" tag library has been renamed to the "standard" tag library. JSPTL has been renamed to JSTL. Early Access Release 1.2 was made available for download. This version, like EA 1.1, was compatible with Tomcat 4.0. Early Access Release 1.1 was made available for download. This version was compatible with Tomcat 4 B6 and Tomcat 4.0. Early Access Release 1 of the JSTL was made available for download. JSTL contributed by the Java Community Process JSR-052 Expert Group and imported into CVS.
