2016 July - Board report for Apache Shiro Apache Shiro is a powerful and flexible open-source application security framework that cleanly handles authentication, authorization, enterprise session management and cryptography. We have no issues that require Board assistance at this time. Releases: - 1.2.5 was released on Tue May 24 2016 - 1.2.6 was released on Tue Jun 28 2016 Community & Project: - Mailing list traffic has remained the same, with a slight raise on dev@ due to the increase number of commits. - The 2.x release has been postponed in favor of a 1.3.x release in order to consume various community patch submissions. - Release 1.2.5 contained a fix for CVE-2016-4437 - Project is mostly stable and in maintenance/bugfix mode until a 2.0 release can be made.
