2015 September - Board report for Apache Shiro Apache Shiro is a powerful and flexible open-source application security framework that cleanly handles authentication, authorization, enterprise session management and cryptography. We have no issues that require Board assistance at this time. Releases: - We released the 1.2.4 bugfix/point release 2 months ago on July 7th. Community & Project: - We have a new committer! Jérôme LELEU, a long time community member and friend of the Shiro community accepted our invitation and became a committer last month on August 4th, 2015. - We are still working on 2.x and active discussion has resumed towards this effort. - Project is mostly stable and in maintenance/bugfix mode until a 2.0 release can be made.
