JetSpeed Release Notes
All Versions
Linux JDK 1.2 pre-v2
JetSpeed currently works fine under JDK 1.2 pre-v2. You may need to use
green threads and possibly turn off JIT compilation. This can be done by
specifying "-green -Djava.compiler=NONE". Currently I only know that this
is a problem with the jsdk2.1. This may not apply to other servlet engines.
1.0 Beta 2
-
Messaging and Calendaring have been removed from this version. The code
is still in CVS but it just isn't compiled as part of the build. This was
done because there are still bugs within the code and it is going to be
rewritten in the future to support cocoon.
1.0 Beta 1
-
The following features/bugs are implemented/fixed in this version:
- Connection timeout bug under Linux JVM corrected
- catch javax.mail.NoSuchProviderException. This occurs when the user specifies
a provider but it is not in the classpath.
- Compose New Message page needs to verify the TO and CC field
-
Adds preliminary support for deleting messages. Some portal features.
Messaging should be about 70% done.
-
Linux JDK pre-v2 doesn't seem to work correctly on logon. It seems to
drop the socket on POST.
-
Deleting messages doesn't appear to work correctly. It is 100% JavaMail but I
only have access to IMAP right now and this doesn't appear to work.
