Portlet API

This portlet API is the API defined in collaboration between the Jetspeed development team
and the IBM Websphere Portal development team.

It's mainly provided for reference and experiments as it's not currently used in Jetspeed 1.4.
It's also one of the basis for the JSR 168 standardization effort and as such is expected 
to change somewhat to comply with the workgroup standard.

An early implementation of this API can be found in the "portlet_api" branch of Jetspeed CVS.
