Maven Surefire Report Plugin – Changing the Report Name

Changing the Report Name

In order to configure the file name of the generated report (which is "surefire" by default), the outputName property should be set to the desired name.

  <reporting>
    <plugins>
      <plugin>
        <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
        <artifactId>maven-surefire-report-plugin</artifactId>
        <version>3.5.0</version>
        <configuration>
          <outputName>desired_name</outputName>
        </configuration>
      </plugin>
    </plugins>
  </reporting>
  [...]
</project>

And after executing mvn site, the generated report file is named desired_name.html.
