 Close | Closes this stream to further operations. |
| CopyBytes | Copy numBytes bytes from input to ourself. |
| Equals (inherited from Object) | Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. |
| Flush | Forces any buffered output to be written. |
| GetFilePointer | Returns the current position in this file, where the next write will occur. |
| GetHashCode (inherited from Object) | Serves as a hash function for a particular type. GetHashCode is suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table. |
| GetType (inherited from Object) | Gets the Type of the current instance. |
| Length | The number of bytes in the file. |
| Seek | Sets current position in this file, where the next write will occur. |
| SetLength | Set the file length. By default, this method does nothing (it's optional for a Directory to implement it). But, certain Directory implementations (for example @see FSDirectory) can use this to inform the underlying IO system to pre-allocate the file to the specified size. If the length is longer than the current file length, the bytes added to the file are undefined. Otherwise the file is truncated. file length |

| WriteByte | Writes a single byte. |
| WriteBytes | Overloaded. Writes an array of bytes. |
| WriteChars | Overloaded. Writes a sub sequence of chars from s as "modified UTF-8" encoded bytes. |
| WriteInt | Writes an int as four bytes. |
| WriteLong | Writes a long as eight bytes. |
| WriteString | Writes a string. |
| WriteVInt | Writes an int in a variable-length format. Writes between one and five bytes. Smaller values take fewer bytes. Negative numbers are not supported. |
| WriteVLong | Writes an long in a variable-length format. Writes between one and five bytes. Smaller values take fewer bytes. Negative numbers are not supported. |
Protected Instance Methods
 Finalize (inherited from Object) | Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection. |
| MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. |
