StopAnalyzer Methods

The methods of the StopAnalyzer class are listed below. For a complete list of StopAnalyzer class members, see the StopAnalyzer Members topic.

Public Instance Methods

Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetPositionIncrementGap (inherited from Analyzer) Invoked before indexing a Field instance if terms have already been added to that field. This allows custom analyzers to place an automatic position increment gap between Field instances using the same field name. The default value position increment gap is 0. With a 0 position increment gap and the typical default token position increment of 1, all terms in a field, including across Field instances, are in successive positions, allowing exact PhraseQuery matches, for instance, across Field instance boundaries.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the current instance.
TokenStream (inherited from Analyzer)Overloaded. Creates a TokenStream which tokenizes all the text in the provided Reader. Provided for backward compatibility only.
TokenStreamOverloaded. Filters LowerCaseTokenizer with StopFilter.
ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.
