Starting with Flex 4.0, Apache recommends that you use the spark.effects.easing.Power class as an alternative to this class.
The Spark effects provided as of Flex 4 use classes which implement the
IEaser interface instead of the easing functions in classes like Cubic for
the earlier Flex 3 effects. To achieve the same functionality of Cubic,
create a Power instance with an exponent of 3 and set the
easeInFraction appropriately to get the desired result.
The Cubic class defines three easing functions to implement
motion with Flex effect classes. The acceleration of motion for a Cubic easing
equation is greater than for a Quadratic easing equation.

The easeInOut() method combines the motion
of the easeIn() and easeOut() methods
to start the motion from zero velocity, accelerates motion, then decelerates
back to a zero velocity.
[static]
The easeOut() method starts motion fast,
and then decelerates motion to a zero velocity as it executes.

Method Detail
easeIn
()
method
public static function easeIn(t:Number, b:Number, c:Number, d:Number):Number
Language Version :
ActionScript 3.0
Product Version :
Flex 3
Runtime Versions :
Flash Player 9, AIR 1.1
The easeIn() method starts motion from zero velocity,
and then accelerates motion as it executes.
Parameters
t:Number — Specifies time.
b:Number — Specifies the initial position of a component.
c:Number — Specifies the total change in position of the component.
d:Number — Specifies the duration of the effect, in milliseconds.
Returns
Number — Number corresponding to the position of the component.
easeInOut
()
method
public static function easeInOut(t:Number, b:Number, c:Number, d:Number):Number
Language Version :
ActionScript 3.0
Product Version :
Flex 3
Runtime Versions :
Flash Player 9, AIR 1.1

t:Number — Specifies time.
b:Number — Specifies the initial position of a component.
c:Number — Specifies the total change in position of the component.
d:Number — Specifies the duration of the effect, in milliseconds.
Returns

easeOut
()
method
public static function easeOut(t:Number, b:Number, c:Number, d:Number):Number
Language Version :
ActionScript 3.0
Product Version :

The easeOut() method starts motion fast,
and then decelerates motion to a zero velocity as it executes.
Parameters
t:Number — Specifies time.
b:Number — Specifies the initial position of a component.
c:Number — Specifies the total change in position of the component.
d:Number — Specifies the duration of the effect, in milliseconds.
Returns
Number — Number corresponding to the position of the component.
