1. INTRODUCTION

This scope of the Modeler component is to provide a class library supporting the creation and use of Model MBeans to manage application resources via tools that implement the Java Management Extensions (JMX) APIs.

2. DEPENDENCIES

The Modeler component is dependent upon the following external components for development and use:

Java Development Kit (Version 1.2 or later)
Jakarta Commons BeanUtils
Jakarta Commons Collections
Jakarta Commons Digester
Jakarta Commons Logging
A JMX compliant implementation, like the JMX Instrumentation and Agent Specification reference implementation or OpenJMX
